Sasho MacKenzie recently released a speed training system that is called the Stack System. It includes a single stick with changeable weights and an AI + app driven set of training programs. Mine just shipped today. Will be using this thread to provide a review and update on progress. Other folks should join in as well. @mr.hicksta

Good luck on the progress and I will be sure to follow along. As a side note I think the marketing team missed an opportunity to add the name a 4th time on that club, now how will I know what this thing is called!

Looks like mine will arrive tomorrow! I’m going to get started next week and I’m planning on documenting everything in this thread. I’ll also post pics of the trainer so everyone can get an idea of the build quality. I’ll have a week gap in training cause of work, but after that I’ll have a good stretch of time to really work on increasing my swing speed. I’m excited about getting started and sharing my journey with y’all!

Alright, I knocked out my baseline today and I’ll be starting the Foundation training this coming week. I’m hyped and wanted to share some thoughts.

There’s nothing extraordinary about the trainer itself, and containing everything to one trainer is probably my favorite part. The weights have laser etching and  dashes so it’s easy to make sure you have the right combos. I may put my usual grip on my trainer, as the one that comes on it is a little thin for my liking.

The app is amazing and it walks you through everything. The built in rest periods are fantastic as well and they helped me really got at it hard each session. I really feel like the app will ensure I progress as the sessions will build off each other. And the lead/trail arm swings are excellent additions as well!

The price tag will turn some folks off for sure, but I’m happy I got in early and I think I’m going to see some significant speed gains using The Stack. I’m excited to share my progress with you all and feel free to post any questions if you’ve got them!

It is a bit pricey, but the lifetime app access from the pre-order and the names behind it, Sasho and Marty, are definitely two people I trust a lot when it comes to this stuff which was enough for me to pull the trigger on getting an order in.

Most definitely and I suspect when people start seeing gains being made, they'll decide it's worth the cost!

Estimated delivery of April 21 up in Canada... Just reached a personal best of 105 MPH CHS with driver and no ball after my last session with homemade SuperSpeed sticks. I've probably averaged about 1 session every 3 weeks this winter due to rest and rehab on my lead shoulder. Hoping the "grit" score on Stack can help motivate me to use it 3X per week as recommended and that my shoulder is up for it. Nice to see it is only 34 swings which is a manageable number.

I think the app and future development is what sets it apart. Of course the incentive to preorder was lifetime access, but ultimately it'll come down to what each player is looking to gain. Like many things in the golf world what's 'worth it' to one player is going to vary wildly to the next!

The app is the biggest deal. It uses an artificial intelligence algorithm to develop scheduled workouts for you to maximize your speed gains. The algorithm is developed by Dr. Sasho MacKenzie, who's one of the leading names in human kinetics and biomechanics when it comes to the golf swing.

Marty Jertson is the other name behind the stack and he's been an engineer at Ping for 17 years and is a PGA of America member who's competed in 6 majors, most recently the 2020 US Open. He was the lead designer of the G30 and G410 drivers and helped invent the iPing Putting app.

Long story short, it was created by two guys who are incredibly well respected in the industry.

Day 1/18 with the Foundation protocol. I absolutely love the setup of this training and I’m even more excited to see how I progress.

I’m playing with the timing of my sessions and today I knocked it out after a Peloton warm up ride and lifting. We’ll see if doing it after just a warm up will make a difference!

Are all the swings normal style full swings? One-side or both-sides like Superspeed?

Awesome customer service so far. I had a question about optimal placement of the radar because i had issues in the past with other sticks and the radar. I submitted the question on the website and Sasho himself literally emailed me back in 5 minutes with an answer.

Did the baseline today. In the past, I have always had issues with swing speed readings with the various radars. Maybe I am not positioning them correctly or maybe i swing slower/differently without a ball. I don't know. I do know my swing speed with a ball is higher than what I get with readings on the radar. The radar is consistent though for me from a relative perspective, so I will try not to focus on what the numbers are, but rather what do the trend in numbers look like over time.

Also, the workout duration and rest numbers aren't correct due to user error. I was getting a feel for the app, and when to click various buttons, etc., so it actually took longer than what is stated below.

Had a midsize MCC Plus4 put on mine today and I’m knocking out my Foundation session shortly. Kind of interested to see the variation in the weights from workout to workout.

I won’t be able to do any sessions next week, but I’ll get back on it the following week!
